25th and 26th September the PCC Working group on cadastral brochure
has celebrated a meeting in Brussels
The meeting was hold in the central office of the ADMINISTRATION
CENTRALE DU CADASTRE, DE L'ENREGISTREMENT ET DES DOMAINES with the aim to discuss issues related to the preparation of the
document that will be officially presented in December in Roma.
The cadastral brochure activity, that was presented in the past
meeting in Bled, has the objective to, progressively (by groups
of Countries), carry out an official PCC publication that allows
to increase the knowledge on the national cadastral systems within
and outside the Institutions members of the PCC ant to meet the
growing demand of cadastral information from EU institutions.

ITALY: As from the 1st of August 2008 Agenzia
del Territorio has a new General Director. Mrs Gabriella
Alemanno succeeds Mr Mario Picardi in the general management of
the Agency.
The Permanent Committee on Cadastre in the European Union has
asked to the EUROsociAL Programme of the European Commision, for
its incorporation as associated member.
New Director General of the Spanish
Cadastre: Mr Angel M. Álvarez is since last May 30th
the new Director General. He replaced Mr Jesus Miranda who form
now will take care of new responsabilities on Ministry of Defence.
Previously, Mr Álvarez was working as Director of Cabinet
of the General Secretariat of the Ministry Economic and Finance.
New Surveyor General in Poland On 27 of March 2008, the Prime
Minister of the Republic of Poland, appointed Mrs. Jolanta Orlinska
as the new Surveyor General and President of the Head Office of
Geodesy and Cartography, replacing Mr Wieslaw Potrapeluk in this
position.
Kick off meeting of the Thematic Working Group (TWG) on "Cadastral
Parcels". It will take place in the JRC (Ispra, Italy), 14-15
February.
Activities organized by Portuguese Geographic Institute and the
Spanish Institute of fiscal studies with the collaboration of
the Permanent Committees on the Cadastre in the European Union
(PCC) and in Latin America (CPCI) and of the Spanish Directorate
General for Cadastre.
Besides the seminars programmed to celebrate in Lisbon during
the 27-28th and 29-30th of November, there will be a work meeting
for each Committee (PCC and CPCI) and a join session for both
Committees together.
