  • 8th to 12th may 2006: Cartagena of Indias (Colombia). The Permanent Committee on Cadastre in the European Union will participate in the creation of the Permanent Committee on Cadastre in Latin America. Mr. August Hochwartner President of PCC and 17 Directors General of Cadastre of Latin America countries will take part at this event:

  • Friday 7th april 2006: Spanish Cabinet Royal Decree developing the merged text of the Law of Real Estate Cadastre.

  • 16-17 February 2006  Ispra : The 1st Coordination meeting between the European Commission's Consolidation Team (CT), and the Chairs of the five Drafting Teams (DT).

    The Coordination Team addressed in the WP update t he possibility to ask advice to SDICs/LMOs on "intermediate" technical documents, which are considered essential for further developments.

  • 4 th February 2006: (Geneva, Palais des Nations) Meeting of the "Bureau of the Working Party on Land Administration" The Bureau discussed cooperation with other organizations. In particular reference was made to the High Level Commission on Legal Empowerment of the Poor, Eurogi and the Permanent Committee on Cadastre. (doc )"

  • 2th march 2006: The joint working group of the PCC and EuroGeographics (WG-CPI) has elaborated a few documents which give an overview about the cadastral situation in Europe . They have been sent to INSPIRE Drafting Teams to be considered as reference documents. These are the documents:

  1. Result of the questionnaire about the role of the cadastral parcel.(doc )

  • February 27th 2006: On a suggestion made by the Permanent Committee on the Cadastre of the EU; amendments 35, 34, 33, 32, have been introduced in "Draft Recommendation for second reading". (doc )

  • 1th-22th November 2005: (Geneva) Meeting of the "Committee on Human Settlements Working Party on Land Administration".
    In the Fourth session, it was discussed several items of policy concern for land administration authorities in the UNECE region. Among them, it was stressed: "Priority in harmonization should be given to the development of geo-information and cadastre information related to protection of environment; land-use rights, natural disaster risk assessment (floods, land allocation for new housing, bird flu, etc.)"(doc )

    Meeting of the Permanent Committee. The Statutes of the Committee were unanimously approved. The meeting also dealt with the situation of the current projects and the future activities of the Committee.

  • 8th March 2004: Spain.
    The State Official Bulletin published the Legislative Royal Decree 1/2004, of 5th March 2004, to ratify the merged text of the Law of Real Estate Cadastre. (pdf  )
     
  • 4th - 5th December 2003: Roma (Italy).
    2nd Congress on Cadastre in the European Union organized by Agenzia del Territorio and Sogei with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. A round table about the role of the Permanent Committee on Cadastre in supporting european policies is scheduled for the second day of the Congress. (pdf )
     
  • 3rd December 2003: Roma (Italy).
    Meeting of the Permanent Committee. The "Common Principles on the Cadastre in the European Union" (final document of the project "Declaration on Cadastre in the European Union") were approved.

  • 17th October 2003: Roma (Italy).
    Meeting of the Permanent Committee on Cadastre in the European Union.
    The aims of the meeting will be the examination of the progress report about the "Declaration on Cadastre in the European Union" project and the definition of the relations and cooperations with other international organizations interested in cadastral matters.
     
  • 11th July 2003: Roma (Italy).
    Meeting of the Permanent Committee on Cadastre in the European Union. The aims of the meeting will be the exchange of experiences made during this first period between the 25 Members of the Committee, and the presentation of the Italian Chairmanship program.
     
  • July 10 2003: Roma (Italy).
    INSPIRE public hearing. The PCC will be represented by Italy and Spain. The interest of this event to the PCC is shown up by the presence of several Cadastral Institutions members of the Committee.
     
  • June 25-27 2003: A Coruña (Spain).
    9th EC-GI & GIS Workshop ESDI: Serving the User. The Spanish Cadastre on behalf of the PCC will participate with the "Presentation of the Permanent Committee on the Cadastre in the European Union".
     
  • May 28-31 2003: Athens (Greece).
    Workshop on "Spatial Information Management for Sustainable Real Estate Market Best Practice Guidelines on Nation-wide Land Administration" organised by UN-ECE Working Party on Land Administration where the main purposes are to exchange international experiences, analyse new trends in Sustainable Land Administration and update the UN-ECE "Land Administration Guidelines". A member of the Spanish Cadastre will present the PCC activities
     
  • May 2003:
    On 8 and 9 May 2003 in Enschede (Netherlands), the "IT Renewal Strategies" symposium will be held relative to the Cadastre and the Property Register. This symposium is organised by Commission 7 of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG).
     
  • January 2003:
    Responses received from the European institutions stating their interest and support for the PCC initiative and future activities. Among others, letters have been received from: Mr Gunter Verheugen, Commissioner for Enlargement, Mr. Achilleas Mitsos, Director General Research, Mr. Guy Crauser, Director General, Regional Policy and various technical responsables of the DG Agricultura.
     
  • 23 December 2002:
    The Spanish Parliament passes the new Law of Real Estate Cadastre. ( pdf English Español )
     
  • 13 December 2002:
    Working session held in Paris at the headquarters of the DG of Taxes of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry with representatives of WPLA and EuroGeographics. Attending this meeting were Nick Land, Executive Director of EuroGeographics and Bengt Kjellson, Chairman of the WPLA. It was agreed that both EuroGeographics and WPLA will collaborate with the Permanent Committee on Cadastre in projects of mutual interest to the parties.
     
  • 12 December 2002:
    Approval by the editorial team of the final version of the minute of the session constituting the Permanent Committee on Cadastre in the European Union. ( pdf English Español )
     
  • 5 December 2002:
    Latest version of the Directive for Reutilization of Public Sector data presented during the Council of Telecommunications Ministers. ( pdf English)
     
  • 21-22 November 2002:
    A group of representatives of the Portuguese Geographic Institute visits the Spanish DG of Cadastre. See visit programme.(pdfEspañol) .
     
  • 14 October 2002:
    Meeting in Ispra (Italy), at the headquarters of the Joint Research Centre, between representatives of the institutions responsible for Cadastre in the fifteen member States with representatives of several E.U. General Directorates. Agreement is adopted to constitute the Permanent Committee on Cadastre in the European Union. See list of attendees.(pdf English Español)
