- 13-14 th June 2007. Hamburg ( Germany ). Plenary Meeting
of the PCC
- Germany hold the Presidency of the PCC in the first half
of 2007. During the last meeting in Espoo ( Finland ) Hans
Gerd Stoffel, President of AdV-Germany, gave a presentation
on the objectives of the German presidency:
- Host the Plenary Meeting of the PCC in Germany .
- Cooperate with other relevant groups in Europe to enhance
and strengthen the role of the cadastral organisations
across Europe .
- Increase collaboration with EuroGeographics.
- Discuss possible amendments to the organisation of PCC
to ensure continuity, strengthen the organisation and
to enhance its role and influence.
- 30 th and 31 st May 2007: Eurogeographics will be organised
a workshop of expert group on Cadastre and Land Registry.
The workshop will be hosted by our Bulgarian colleagues and will
take place in Sofia. Overall topic of the workshop will be "Quality
and efficiency improvements in cadastre and land registry".

- 7-8 th May 2007: Meeting of the Joint Working Group of
EuroGeographics and the PCC concerning the cadastral parcel in
INSPIRE (WG-CPI Team) in Hanover (Germany), to discuss the Draft
version of the final report of the project: The central role of
the cadastral parcel in INSPIRE.
- The new UNSDI:
a UNGIWG iniciative.
- EuroGeographics Head Office will be hosting a series of important
meetings in March:
- 13 March, The EU Coordination Group. Group which is designed
to provide a forum for tracking, evaluating and coordinating
responses to EU policy developments.
- 20-21 March, The Business Interoperability Group.
- 12-13th March 2007: Meeting of the Joint Working Group
of EuroGeographics and the PCC concerning the cadastral parcel
in INSPIRE (WG-CPI Team) in Bad Tatzmannsdorf (Austria).
- On 12th February: The
European Parliament has approved in third reading the INSPIRE
Directive. The Directive will come into force 20 days following
its publication on the Official Journal of the European Union.
- See the new
statutes with the amendments approved unanimously by all the members
on November 2006 .
- 29-30th november 2006: Espoo (Finland). "The joint
meeting of the Eurogeographics Expert Group on Cadastre and Land
Registry and the Permanent Committee on the Cadastre in the European
Union (PCC), in collaboration with EuroGeographics ".

22nd-23rd February 2006: ( Vienna ) Meeting of Project
team of WG-CPI.
- 1th-22th November 2005: (Geneva) Meeting of the "Committee
on Human Settlements Working Party on Land Administration".
In the Fourth session, it was discussed several items of policy
concern for land administration authorities in the UNECE region.
Among them, it was stressed: "Priority in harmonization should
be given to the development of geo-information and cadastre information
related to protection of environment; land-use rights, natural
disaster risk assessment (floods, land allocation for new housing,
