Dear colleagues,
During
PCC conference the work of the INSPIRE working group on Buildings was presented. Now, here, the information necessary to judge this work is enclosed to encourage you to participate in the testing phase.
The first document you will find is the data specification. A second document is the presentation used during Edimburg INSPIRE conference. In that presentation, but also in the data specification, you will find a list of open issues. We kindly ask you to review these open issues and to send us your opinion, ideas or remarks.
May we also ask to complete the attached template for additional information. A definition/description of the different topics and the notion "Voidable" can you find in the data specification.
All answers can be sent to
amalia.velasco@catastro.meh.es and
frederic.mortier@minfin.fed.be. Thanks in advance. We will use your comments and information to elaborate version 3.0 of the data specification on buildings.
The fourth attached document gives you some more information about review and testing of the data specifications. I would like to draw your attention to an important remark from the call for testing that says: "It should be emphasised that the cost-benefit aspects of testing are not less important than technical feasibility. Omitting these parts may send the message that related costs do not constitute an issue for data providers." The cost benefit considerations obtained during the testing will also help to shape version 3 of the data specifications.
Kind regards,
Frederic Mortier and Amalia Velasco
